Avaliação da contribuiçãoI love this place. The musubis are always warm and fresh. The egg is a little sweet and a perfect compliment to the salty spam. The price is pretty decent.
So fast background: I grew up on spam eating it all the time and still love it! So of course I had to check this place. Yes, the Spam Musubi is fantastic and I highly recommend it. That said I was not very impressed by their other foods, and therefore it is hard for me to recommend this place when factoring in the long lines that usually exist. If there is a short line, or no line, this is not to visit brains! But I can't say it's worth waiting an hour to experience unless you're going to have a great time on the Spam Musubi!
Lines are usually going out of the door so early, somewhere from 30 minutes to an hour before they open. great place for tourists as it literally in the heart of Waikiki and blocks from the beach. They are mini-musubi cut in half, and I assume that is a reason why ppl gravitate to them. They ran out of the egg when I left, so I can't tell you. I order the plum sauce with cucumbers it was delicious. Its very tiny inner COVID limitations 5 ppl inside at a time. easy to order, would I go back? Probably not only because I have other spots on the island, you can get musubi from again it?s in Waikiki and I can not do the traffic, plus parking is very limited on the streets. but happy to have experienced it. #SupportSmallBusinesses
It has too much rice in a single musubi. Not fried chicken or sausage, they taste old, Curry bowl was good.
This is my first time in Oahu ever. My husband and friends all highly recommended this spot. Since our VRBO (Seashore Condos) was literally walking distance, within 1 minute, we went twice during our stay. I legit picked this condo rental nearby cause musubi was one of the few requests the hubby asked for. We got there both at 6:45am and 7am and were second or first in line. They currently only allow 5 people in the store at a time. We checked in on Yelp and got their deal for one of the musubis. All the ones we got were delicious. But the ones that had cheese in it were HELLAAAAAAAAA good. Only downside is that there is a lot of rice. Fortunately both me and my husband LOOOOOOOVE rice so this didn't bother us. But after eating 2 or 3, we were full. But hey, for this price, it beats anything we get in the Bay Area.
