Unfortunately, it is no longer in the Ward Centre, so we searched for a place and ended in the Tango Café. No reservations, but Jessica cleaned us a table and we set ourselves to a very nice lunch. I had forgotten how small Tango is, how all the tables were occupied. I ordered a Botanical Gin Tonic, but Jessica said they just had a bottle of monkey 47, so I had this. Flowery and fruity with a touch of spices, it was a nice change of pace, though at a price of $16,50). We ordered the baked pork fillet $17) and the grilled Pesto Glazed salmon salad $15.50). The **** was more like a carving than what my friend expected. He thought it was like Tonkatsu and reported that it was very tender and the engraving was delicious. It was served with fries and vegetables. The fries came with what we thought was a Catsup/Mustard mixture; it became a piquante barbeque-like sauce. My salmon salad was delicious... the generous fillet of salmon was perfectly prepared, just past medium rarity and the mixed baby green, pieces of asparagus and half of yellow and red cherry tomatoes, dressed with a delicate dressing was wonderful. I finished my meal with a cup of coffee; I don't know what bean it uses, but this is my kind of coffee; dark and rich. Tango Time Café is a great place for delicious food, perfectly prepared. Very recommended!
We were craving dessert and this place delivered! We got bread pudding, ice cream and an iced espresso. We were totally satisfied with everything. The cinnamon ice cream went wonderfully with their bread pudding! And ume guava sorbet is a new favorite flavor! Tami was so friendly and helpful, even though we were only getting dessert to go. Can't say enough about our experience! We will definitely be back even though we don't live near by.

Great brunch area in Kakaako area. Pet friendly neighborhood, I could bring my dog and eat in their outdoor seats. Order the risotto, which was delicious and the eggs Benedict.
Fantastic food and service. I was just where daughters and their friend were. Very friendly server made sure we had everything we needed. The oriental salad should die for. I enjoyed the mahi mahi sandwich.
