Eugene's Hot Chicken Hoover

Best hot chicken in Alabama. Has a nice blend of sweet and heat. Side are just ok with the exception of the fried okra which is phenomenal. I recommend the tenders over the sandwich as the tenders on the sandwich are so large that it is challenging to eat as a sandwich.

It was very good! The girl taking my order was very friendly and I ordered a chicken finger meal. It was the best chicken fingers I have ever had! Seriously! I was surprised.. chicken fingers were that much better here than anywhere else I have been. I will definitely be back!

I've been on this hot chicken kick lately, and this isby far the best I've had in Alabama. It was prepared fresh and hot and was extremely juicy. The standard hot was just the right amount of hot that didn't over power the flavor. The fries...where just fries(I didn't come for fries). Great filling meal.

Its a long wait. I ordered hot chicken fries and it was meh, the flavor wasn?t hitting and the chicken was barely chopped up. The food truck is alot better. The first pic is from the food truck and the second one is from the restaurant.

Visited here for the first time. Cashier was very friendly. I had the jumbo tenders. The tenders are in fact, jumbo. They were juicy and had a very nice texture and were fresh. I didn?t get any heat added to mine. I also had the skillet beans which were I think, kidney beans mixed with ground beef. They had a smokey flavor which was pleasant. Pleasant experience here.
