Avaliação da contribuiçãoEarlier this year my friends and I, who are regular visitors to the Milk Churn purchased pyrex coffee mugs which were sold advertising 50p off all future drinks. However, on more than one occasion one member of staff has said it only applies to takaway coffee. The original notice did not mention takeaway, had it done so we would not have bought the mugs as we never have a takeaway. Also, I can't believe anyone would buy a glass mug for a takeaway coffee. Most of the staff allow the discount without question but if it is now only to be given on takeaway coffee we have been sold the mugs under false pretences.
I was disappointed that the macaroni cheese arrived without a slice of garlic bread, it looked very stodgy and it was. FOR £6 was expensive. The cheese on toast is delicious but the bread pieces far too small also for the price.Husband is not one to complain. But he did remark on both. Was looking forward to visiting there, but disapointed.
My friend recommended the cheese on toast. That didn't disappoint however our coffee was lukewarm. I returned the two drinks and it took a while to try and explain that coffee wasn't hot ! I was then told the replacement would be left on the counter but I had to request that one of the many waitresses brought it out to us as my food was then getting cold. Lovely location but need to sharpen up a bit.

My main gripe is that I didn’t appreciate it being cut open for me, but worse still, the server’s finger stuck in to it to test if it was warm enough! Will be a while before we return.
Good hot coffee and bacon butty, although the bread rolls are very cheap quality for the price. But, the sign says mask or face shields must be worn, of course, but the servers wore neither, or had gloves on. Yes, there’s a Perspex screen, but...
