Anvil Refuge - Houston

I finally gave this place a try and it just was so cool! i love how the bar area was setup, so neat. the bartender, i didn't get his name, but see the photo below.. he really knew his stuff, had a personality, and just overall FUN. we walked in on athursday night and he greeted with a full smile and we got lucky to snag a spot right at the bar even tho it was super crowded.although i cannot comment on alcoholic drinks, i enjoyed the topo chico with lime. even tho the place was crowded, i reallyenjoyed my time there. i think his energy was so happy, it made us happy. also i loved how clean and spacious the restroom was.i def can see myself going back to this spot. i do highly recommend and they also have a full menu with food.

In any case will be back! I never really drank cocktails, but it's nice to find places that know what they do. I don't drink much so I don't know what's good or what's my favorite, but this place was very refreshing and I have both enjoyed drinks. I have the most beautiful fruit and my madonna cost her $12 everyone but worth it! the other drink is called the prescription and definitiw like one! I'm a light weight, so I'm a cheaper date friend or hostile. to soon again!

Anvil is an old fave that you can always count on with great drinks and friendly service. I was glad that the personal was masked and that the men wore their masks while entering. the good one (pictured on the left) is a drink that is so strong that the reaction of my wife let our server laugh. anvil is queer friendly and a fun place to remember the pride paraden. thanks to our excellent server, cory, for us a great time!

Great cocktail bar with an amazing drink selection (cocktails or single gries.) small seating inside, but I think the mood is worth it. the personal is always friendly and cocktails are decently expensive.

What can I say that this was not already said about this trendy cocktailbar. when entering they can notice the inviting ambiente and the eclectic device, but it is their signature drinks that captivates the attention in this picturesque Bohemian tavern. while I tried a lot of drinks thanks to the arretten mixologin: alexander, what turned out was “The Brave”. great drinks and friendly staff lure me back.
