Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe place has a vibe like you are visiting a family member rather than a restaurant, you can tell in the flavor that the food was made with love and detail, a little piece of Korea in Houston I would say. Definitely coming back for more of this home warming amazing
맛있네요Best authentic Korean restaurant. If you go to other Korean restaurants, you won't see many Koreans. However, here, almost all the customers are Koreans.
Me and my wife decided to come here randomly, and we were very glad we did. The food is very very good, and some of the side dishes are some of the best we've found in Houston. The pickled radish was particularly good.Later on, I was looking for a place that had Sujebi (Soo Jae Bi, Soojaebi, 수제비 and realized they had it here. It was so good and the portion of torn dough was very generous, as are the portions in general. It was so nice to be the first evening table and smell the food start to cook after we ordered. If you're looking for home style Korean food cooked by Ajumma, go here. It's really good food.
I loved this restaurant exactly as it is. It's a little hole in the wall. Little auntie making dumplings when you walk in, well loved peace lilies and other large plants, no music, no alcohol (but it's byob with receipt and we overheard another table thinking about walking to the gas station to grab a couple of beers). Cute auntie came by a couple of times to check in on us though the restaurant started getting busy and told us in broken English what foods to try to finish because it wouldn't reheat well. The food was good and I took home the side dishes (I don't always) and it all tastes homemade in the best way. I felt nourished in my soul. If you think about eating lunch with your cute Korean auntie, isn't it the same way? No music, lots of plants, auntie fussing over you, go home with lots of food. I don't want it to change.
A secret hole in the wall restaurant but probably the best authentic Korean restaurant in Houston. The food here, including the side dishes (banchan) are always made fresh. I live 20 minutes away but if I'm craving some good Korean food, I am always willing to make the drive here.
