The Ginger Man - Houston

I have a small village in the village, so it is only a few minutes walk away when the weather cooperates. I love this place! Small little pub in the village.

It's been a decade since I visited The Ginger Man... I'm getting old. I finally made my return after seeing that Alabama is being smashed into the nationals.

That you were going is a fantastic example of what I think should be a big local pub. the building is older but has a charm in the creaky floor and cozy.

This restaurant has a nice vibe. It's a bit dimly lit and the bathrooms are small with awkward steps, but it has a charming atmosphere. They offer a great variety of beers and the staff is proficient. While they also have a decent wine selection, it's definitely more of a beer-focused establishment. They have board games and TVs for sports entertainment. However, I would advise against visiting if someone in your group has mobility issues, as the bathroom may be challenging to navigate.

The staff is very well known and the prices are great! They even give you a taste of something you want to try without having to buy a full pint, as well as offer half pints. Large selection and also bottles. Great atmosphere. Absolutely back!
