The blue cheese filet with roasted Brussel Sprouts and grits were phenomenal. Decided to order the meat and cheese plate for an appetizer it did not disappoint. Wonderful atmosphere. Get there early gets very busy!
Had a reservation for 2 on a Saturday night at 6pm. Ordered a glass of wine, a beer, meat and cheese board appetizer, 16oz prime rib with a side of bearnaise and a 6oz filet. Appetizer arrived in about 10 minutes. After that, we didn't see our waitress again for almost an hour when she told us our meals would be out very soon and apologized for the delay. Meals finally arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes after we sat down at the table. My prime rib was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious, but was missing the bearnaise. The potatoes were about 90% blue cheese and 10% potato, and were pretty much inedible until my wife donated her potatoes to mix with mine. Broccolini was very hard and barely warm. The filet my wife ordered was tough as nails and mostly well done (ordered medium). After a second beer and the lemoncello tiramisu to go (also inedible due to extreme tartness), the final total was $155. When I pay this much for a meal I expect the food and the service to be far better than what this was. I may decide to give this place another chance, but it will be a long time before I go back. Very disappointing.
My first time here and compared to other steakhouses, this was a mediocre place with a higher price tag. My wife had gotten the pork chops which was mostly fat and very well overcooked. However, my biggest complaint was the waitress who was too busy flirting with the table full men instead of attending mine and other tables around the area. Bottom line this place comes to high of a price tag for the food compared to chain restaurants.
Great place to wind down the night.I grabbed dinner here while in town for training and a friend suggested this place because of the salmon. Spot on!!I had the salmon, Brussels sprouts, and sweet potato hash and it was all exceptional. The salmon was a very large piece of fish and the sweet potatoes were cooked just right.Nick did a great job at the bar as well.
