Captain D's Seafood Kitchen - Hurricane

I have always known this Captain D’s to be extremely slow, but the food was usually good. Today, however, was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The wait was as long as usual, over 30 minutes, and the food was terrible. The fish tasted like it had been soaked in water, the chicken was full of gristle, and we were missing half of our shrimp. The sweet tea was not sweet at all and just overall unpleasant. This is the worst food I have ever been served and I will not be going back anytime soon. I hate to complain, but this is the truth.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the dining area was clean, and the drink machine and condiment areas were well stocked. The fish and French fries were cooked perfectly, the hush puppies were delightful, and the coleslaw was delicious. The stuffed crabs were amazing, and the okra was sweet. The staff greeted us warmly upon entry and thanked us as we left. Overall, it was a great experience, and the restaurant was warm, which was much appreciated during this time of year. After a bad experience at a different restaurant, this meal and experience more than made up for it. The parking lot was huge and clean as well. Thank you!

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant for dinner. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 3 out of 5. I would recommend trying the fish dinner.

I have never gotten my food here in under 20 minutes. Always have to wait so long. I just waited over 35 minutes for a simple order. This place is understaffed and does not care about customer service in the slightest. Food is good if you have 20-30 minutes to wait for it. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
