Wing Lee Chinese Restaurant

Just moved to the area was told this place is very good! I agree!! We had our food delivered was very fast service. The portions were huge absolutely delicious!

I've been visiting Wing Lee for many years. Although I now live in Tampa, I always make a point to stop by Wing Lee when I'm in Kansas City. It's not an upscale restaurant, but I absolutely love their walnut chicken.

It's our family's favorite spot for takeout! The staff is always incredibly friendly!

The food is quite good, but there are definitely areas for improvement with the service. My plates were piled up on the table until I finished my meal, and the waitress never checked to see if I wanted another drink. In fact, I ended up having to refill my own drink because I wasn't asked until I had already finished my meal. Additionally, the greeting at the reception could be much friendlier. When I tried to place an order over the phone, it felt like they weren't really listening to me; instead, they just waved me off. Once they improve on these aspects, this could be a really great restaurant.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I used to dine here frequently, but my weakness for food means I have to control my visits. The menu is limited, and the building is quite old. However, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is excellent. While it may not be extravagant or overly innovative, it offers great value for the money.
