Big Lug Canteen - Indianapolis

We don't live near this place, but we love to come here when we can. The portions are very generous and I never had a bad meal. I think the bread is all freshly baked and delicious. I had a technicolor pachyderm beer and loved it. Try it anyway.

Do yourself a favor and stop here! Your food is amazing and the service is even better. Jeff's the best. He is so easy to talk with and super helpful about fun places in Indy to check. Rare 5 stars give, but this is definitely it.

I have food togo and a picnic in the car lol. The food was great. My 1/2 order of the Philly Fanatic Sandwich was more than enough for 1 person. Tons of steak and LOTS cheese. The order of the wings was also for 1 person (10 pieces) wings were huge and very good. I have fried mushrooms as an appetizer and side of brunette spruce with my sandwich. I'll say that the brussell sprouts WAY had too much oil. They looked like they were floating in olive oil and thrown on my togo box. This is my only thing I would definitely fix abd

We had amazing service at Big Lugs in their 21 area! The food was also perfect and the beers were good value. I loved the fried mushroom side. We also had to get two orders from the poutins because it was so good with engraving on it and perfectly cooked frits. I enjoyed my beers I had and felt like I had a good deal.

Food is really good. go here for the food. The beer is okay. Good neighborhood bar. Great atmosphere. they don't have flights or short pours. My wife felt her Moscow mule was very gingery probably because it included fresh ginger but that's a matter of taste. I like my Bahn lug sandwich. Love the artwork. service was fine but nothing outstanding
