Taverne Athen - Ingelheim am Rhein

Big restaurant for a small restaurant. Nothing special but can handle a large group easily. Food is ok but nothing is outstanding.

The place is pretty big (for a small town). The owner personally greets all the guests and offers a free shot of ouzo! Food is 7/10 and price is great.

We used to go to this place quite often; but after some visits quality (food arrived almost cold at the table) and the service was fast, but only business like and somehow unfriendly, specially mentioning the cold plate. Did not return since...

We arrived at this restaurant on a Sunday dinner. the streets of ingelheim were left, but this place was full and good ground. eating is delicious. I lived in Greece and know good Greek cuisine. this place is a jewel. will return. definitiw.
