Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday night, and we were seated quickly. We ordered green tea and relaxed. We decided to get some tuna and salmon sashimi as well as a variety of rolls. The sashimi was delicious and fresh, melting in our mouths. The rolls were also excellent. We also tried the assorted tempura, which was perfectly fried and not greasy at all. This cozy little restaurant in the mountains impressed us. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
This sushi restaurant is one of the best I've ever visited! The staff is amazing, very friendly and polite. The food is absolutely incredible! I would definitely make the 3-hour drive just to dine here again! (I'm from Calgary)
Our experience there was good. The soup, cucumber salad, sunomono and tempura were all good. The sushi was okay but they slice the fish pretty thin. It always surprises me when restaurants do that because I notice that right away. I assume other people notice that too. Deep fried banana and ice cream was quite good. So it's a nice place but they need to be a little more generous with the sushi.
I am giving this restaurant a rating of 3.5 stars only because the service was quite slow. I visited with two adults and two children, and despite the restaurant not being very busy when we arrived, we had to wait a while for our water and tea. We were unsure if we needed to write our order on a piece of paper left on our table with a pencil. As the restaurant filled up, the lone server was overwhelmed, making our dining experience unpleasant, especially with two hungry kids. The food came out in a strange order and we were not provided with plates to eat from, so we used our napkins instead. While the food itself was not bad and the Ebi sunomono was excellent, the overall experience could have been improved by hiring another server. If the server is the owner, they should consider bringing on additional help, and if not, they should suggest it to the owner.
Delicious. Some of the best Japanese food I've had. I'd highly recommend this restaurant. Also reasonably priced. I wish there miso soup wasn't fish based.
