Gasthaus Café Bavaria - Inzell

A friendly host house on the main road through Inzell. Friendly service, good food and attractive food here. In summer a beer garden outside the door, but stop at the main/federal road.

Because the place wasn't even half filled. The seat was also miserable. The tables too low, the chairs too high. We went because we didn't want to wait longer to be served and watched.

The location of Bavaria is not particularly attractive (on one side the federal road, on the other the petrol station), but there is a very cozy terrace with many seats here. The beautiful interior of the restaurant also has plenty of space. Unfortunately, Bavaria is not very well visited in July 2012. I have the impression that the whole inn is a two-person operation. You only see an operation and a person in the kitchen area. Unfortunately, the service places more weight on cleaning the tables than on the drinks supply of the guests. The Bavarian specialities can be eaten quite cheaply here (Haxe with dumplings 7,80EUR). The witch is average, but not comparable to the usual butcher quality. In the children's plate (at Pommes for 6,80EUR) the pommes are well fried, but have too little salt. The carving is very delicate, but unfortunately the panade taste prevails. In addition, I noticed a doubtful record deco (fruit rubber lies in the Maionaise). The meat plant with pepper sauce (extremely seasoned) and pommes is obtained for 7,20EUR. The quality is good, the questionable decoration consists of a mint leaf on whipped cream. All in all, an average evening with the same food. The restaurant speaks mainly with travellers and is open all day. However, the quite favorable witch was not of good quality.

After we come here for the haxe every year, we were more than disappointed this year. A really accommodating operation, does not compensate for the bad haxe, hard dumplings and gray sauerkraut.
