Jimmy John's - Iowa City

Why does it take 30 minutes for a delivery? I'm not referring to the 30 minutes from when I place the order, but rather the fact that it consistently takes that long after it says, "order is delivered."

After realizing the delivery wasn’t meant for me, I took it to the correct recipient, whose address was clearly printed on the package. I then called the restaurant to report the issue; if I were the manager, I would want to know if my employees acted this way. The person I spoke to on the phone didn’t apologize for the mishap, but he did say he would pass my name and number along to the general manager. Now, two days later, I’m still waiting for a callback. I would advise against ordering from this Jimmy John's, but who knows—despite their delivery mistakes, they seem to face no consequences for damaging property and driving away.

I had what is probably the best sandwich I've ever had from a Jimmy John's tonight at this location. My sandwich was packed with toppings and incredibly fresh. The staff, a friendly group of college students, worked quickly both inside and at the drive-thru. The restaurant appeared clean, which is always a plus. Just a heads-up about parking: there's only one entrance and exit, so be careful when maneuvering in and out.

Food is always made expertly and the staff are always so friendly and personable. This location is in an odd spot in town but it is always my go to. We recently ordered some large boxes from them and they were all excellent
