MARIAS' CAFE - Iquitos

A good place to have a relaxed morning coffee. This is a favorite with the locals so you don't run into the Lonely Planet set.

If you visit a business place, you want to take a break and have a good coffee. This is Maria's Cafe. The best place in Iquitos for a coffee. Maria and Jorge are very friendly. I enjoyed every time I came.

We went there for breakfast, which was good, but too expansive for what they offer. My friend had breakfast with fried eggs and they were cold when she got it. My agitator was good.

When I went to this café, one of my companions had a big tantrum, just because they got 2 soles charged for butter on the bill, but the staff treated the situation very well in the end. I had only tea there, but because the staff treated the above-mentioned situation so well, I give Maria's Café 4 stars

Good breakfast for a affordable price. Very good juice and eggs. Lunch is a bit more pricy. Café itself is nice.
