Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were fans of Borrelli's for over 40 years but unfortunately no longer patronize what was one of our favorites. The quality of food is inconsistent now since the new ownership took over in early 2024. Our pizza lacked the essential ingredient of cheese, egg plant and lasagna were both underdone and my complaint fell on deaf ears...so sorry Ralph Borrelli's family sold the place.
I've been eating here for many years and the food is great! Home style family Italian food. Very casual and delicious. Spaghetti with meat sauce, the pizza, the garlic bread baked ziti are my favorite dishes. Highly recommend! Great for take out.
Ordered to go pizza. It was ready on time but when I got home with it there were no anchovies as ordered and paid for, but the big problem was the cheese seems to be some kind of liquid variety. It was actively oozing over the cut edge an hour out of the oven. The flavor was off and the liquid cheese changed the entire texture of the pizza. Not a good change. Soggy and mushy is not a good texture for pizza. The next day I attempted to reheat the pizza on a cast iron skillet on low just to warm it up. It turned into a puddle of muck and was not edible. There may be some good items at Borealis but the Vegetarian pizza sucks. It is very sad because under the old owners, the Borealis family, the vegetarian pizza was the best in the county.
Pizza is pretty good. Problem is they’re all uppity up on the tips. The owners charge a dollar if you order online and or a dollar if you order over the phone. When you pick up the pizza to go, they always leave a spot for you to leave a tip. If I’m not sitting down, I’m not leaving a tip.
The baked ziti was very good and our server, Baley, are the 2 reasons we keep coming back.
