Menukortet indeholdt mange schnitzel retter og alle kunne vælges enten som svin, kalv eller kylling, bestilte schnitzel af kalv som blev serveret rygende varm og velsmagende. .

Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet, verfügt - für den Schnitzel-Liebhaber - über sehr viele Schnitzelgerichte (Schwein, Rind, Geflügel) aber eben auch über saison-typische "Hausmannskost", was mir gut gefiel. Hinzu kam ein angenehmes Preisniveau sowie nette, aufmerksame Bedienung.Das zum Restaurant gehörende Hotel ist ebenfalls ok, kein Urlaubshotel aber für den Geschäftsreisenden absolut empfehlenswert.Ich kann es hierfür nur empfehlen - und wer in Itzehoe ist und isst, sollte ruhig dieses Restaurant aufsuchen.

We found few restaurants when walking round this town but liked the look of the Ditmarscher Hof.On a corner near the centre of town, not far from the railway station, it is easy to find.There are a variety of tables, ones in the main section, a couple in a side area and one by the bar.The menu had a good selection of local specialities, especially schnitzels but I was pleased to see matjes herrings, one of my favourites. On some days they do special meal evenings featuring the cuisine of a particular area or a wider selection of schnitzels for example.A wide selection of drinks is available and service was excellent, friendly and helpful.
