Avaliação da contribuiçãoI'm a proud resident of Breathitt County currently living in Lexington. When I lived in Jackson, we dined at Variety Pizza almost every week; they have the best food in town. We particularly loved the schinkenhuagies and their bread. We would easily spend around $20 just on their fudge. We miss Variety Pizza so much—I remember visiting the restaurant with my parents when I was a little kid, and it was such a wonderful experience. Now that I'm 40, my children adore it just as much as I did when I was young. This really shows how long this place has been a staple and what a jewel Jackson has. We make it a point to eat there every time we're back home, which unfortunately isn’t often enough. I hadn’t been to Jackson in over two years, and we really miss it. We love Jackson, but there simply aren’t enough good-paying jobs for everyone, which forces many to leave. For those who remain, I truly envy you; I love you and wish you all the best. I cherish the people in Jackson and wish I could come back and raise my family there, but the resources just aren’t available.
We drove two hours just to get a Ham Hoagie and a variety of pizzas, and we picked up a few more on the way back to heat and enjoy later. This place is truly the gem of Jackson!
I absolutely love the pizza at this restaurant! The spaghetti is equally delicious!
Been going here since the 80's never had a bad meal
It had been a few years since I've ate at Variety Pizza. I've eaten better frozen pizza to what I ate there. They need to go back to the original pizza crust and put the topping on them like they used to have. Instead, we ate a hard crust with very, very little toppings. Kid-friendliness: The waitress is friendly and nice. That was the only good thing.
