Maa Kitchen Indian - Jacksonville

Since moving from the northeast, we have tried almost every Indian restaurant in Jacksonville and MAA Kitchen is the best. Everything tastes freshly made, and there are always pleasant surprises. You know its freshly made because the food trickles out piping hot the first 15 minutes after the lucnh buffet opens up. Many times you see the chef carrying out one of the main dishes he just finished. We go for the Sunday lunch buffet as brunch, and there are always a few different dishes that keep it exciting, while the more common dishes are always very well made and reliably yummy. I appreciate that they put signs out for all dishes so you can remember the ones you've liked best.

This place has a yummy buffet for lunches which is when I go, being so close to work. It’s aclittle spicier than other Indian restaurants but I like that.

Casually asked 2 Indian chaps relatively new to Jacksonville where I could find the best Indian restaurant in the area. They both immediately said Maa Kitchen . Absolutely did not disappoint! We had an amazing meal. The biggest difficulty we encountered was trying to decide what to order from their huge and enticing menu. We will be regular customers for sure.
