Driftwood Bistro - JEKYLL ISLAND

Nice little place the locals love. I was almost damped by a mob of seniors when the doors were open at 5:00, so I knew we were in the right place. That said the food was pretty good. Definitely the best food we had on Jekyll Island during our time. Our server was also super friendly. Amazing peach bblers to finish our meal.

Wow! What a wonderful experience! Even if we had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to take a seat, we met some nice people who recommended the rum for a drink. I got one and enjoyed it, which went about waiting a little faster. After we set ourselves, our orders were immediately accepted. I enjoyed the stuffed greens and absolutely loved the Squash-Casserole! Definitely you get the Squash-Casserole when you are there, you will not regret it. The fried green tomatoes were not bad either. My friend got the stuffed flounder with Mac n cheese and Okra and also enjoyed their food. Then the beautiful people we met earlier ended up picking up our tab (if you finally read so much again! We really appreciated it! and Guiedo the host was super friendly and gave us a breakfast recommendation for our stay here. We only had such a wonderful experience here with real southern hospitality! We'll be back when we're back in the area!

We love Jekyll Island and we love seafood! The Driftwood Bistro answered the call for us. They had delicious wild caught Ga shrimps, and the filled Flounder was amazing! You also have a full bar with many delicious special drinks. I cannot recommend the bistro enough!

This is my favorite place to eat on Jekyll. The food is always delicious. If you want to get a table when they open, although I recommend to come 4:30 because I was there at 4:50 and the first session was already full because all people are already waiting outside. It's worth waiting! You can get drinks at the bar to wait. Mac and cheese are delicious. I wish they were open daily!

Service and food was amazing! I liked the half order option and it didn't take a long time for food to come out. Everything was hot and fresh, seasoned well and nice portions. Can't wait to go next time I'm on the island.
