Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were able to convince ourselves of the Auberge on various occasions from family dinner to the company's Christmas celebration. The kitchen is excellent and offers a large à la carte and menu selection. Just the filled pasta with crustaceans and pifferlings or the current dessert with 16 years old balsamico have truly impressed us. The price level is quite high for aschaffenburger conditions, but hardly comparable kitchens will be found in the area. Not really. And, at the latest, the prices for corresponding qualities are completely appropriate. The wine map is very extensive, sometimes of great vintage depth and offers a selection of different wine styles at reasonable prices. Often, the selection of beverages is strongly regionally shaped big classics such as Aperol, Ramazotti, Grappa or Limoncello, however, the service provides a suitable alternative for almost any direction. The Digestif selection is also impressive. The ambience is extremely beautiful, the art in public areas is very tasteful. All in all a great place. It would take a lot more of that. The more surprised I am about the reviews of the previous speakers if they were ever eating here? You have to doubt it in any case.
Unfortunately, this evaluation refers only to the service and not to the food and ambience. When I wanted to book by phone and ask if I could still redeem an eight-year-old voucher for more than €50, this was unfortunately answered to me by both an employee and the managing director with no. It is not legally obliged to do so on the basis of the three-year limitation period. This may be correct, but why you can't simply be culinary here and meet your guests, pay the money and have been happy for a nice evening, I still don't get out after the two conversations. I would have liked a different attitude from the lead of an “uberge”.
My absolutely favorite place to stay when in this area. Not only is this artsy hotel absolutely lovely, the area is precious, and the restaurant is mind boggling well run by the former Michelin Star Chef Mr.Helbig while Mrs.Helbig, the sommelier, makes sure you have access to the best local wine that this region can offers.
The Auberge has an ambience of a special kind. This is supplemented by very exquisite food and drinks. Rarely experienced such a good service. We'll definitely be back.
Very attractive ambience. The dishes served were excellent. Service: Food type: Lunch
