Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn Thursday evening, around 18 o'clock, was there with the family (3 pax). service 7/10, onkel was attentive, all masked also beautiful. Eat 8/10, fulfills our expectations and we will try other dishes again next time. soft salted butterwax, sweet sour pork, steam fish (cubbed), hokkien nudeln. toilet was also clean.
We paid RM140 for 4 people. The soup for the fish head hot pot is full bodied. It is slightly milky white and tasted flavourful. The fish was fresh and vegetables fresh. The chicken was lean and not oily. The ginger sauce tasted home-made. The Yong Tau Hoo and KL Noodle were laden with sauce but they did not taste too heavy. Rustic setting but clean and comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was served fairly quickly. I will go again.
The restaurant doesn’t look appealing from the outside, but it’s still pretty clean. Tried the famous KL hokkien mee and the steamed drunken chicken. The KL hokkien mee was different from what I had expected, doesn’t seem like yellow noodles were used and I like that. Loads of pork lard was used and was really fragrant. We had a ‘small’ portion, it was just nice for 2pax. Chicken was okay, taste was good but certain parts were on the dry side.
Food was great, but there are other shops nearby equally good or not better. Parking is a hustle, waiting time for food is long. Price is above average for what you get. It's popular among the locals but if you don't mind the hustle, noise and price, the food is considerably great.
Very poor. Came around 8pm~. Visible lack of servers. Twice my food was found with cockroaches and fruit flies. Completely destroyed my appetite for the rest of the food. Definitely would not come again.
