Although we had had an apero on the terrace overlooking the covered market and scanned the menu we were unprepared for the excellent meal we had in the well-appointed and decorated rear restaurant. Home cooked food, regional recipes (one of which is an interesting snail sausage), well-prepared and nicely presented by helpful, friendly people. First class menu that covered all the corners. Servings just the right size. The red fruit Tiramisu would not upset traditionalists. And the Cognac/Raisin ice cream was a real find (must find more). Quite an extensive, inexpensive wine list. All-in-all, one deserving of further visits. First class.
This is the second bad meal at this café in giving it a second chance and we shouldn't have bothered. The ownership has changed but it appears that the poor kitchen service has not. All three burger meals were overcooked. The fourth, a supposed ham hock, was not worth giving to our dog, being all fat, gristle and bone. It was exchanged on that basis for another burger but that was just as poor as the other three. No word of apology was offered during the whole incident nor was there any form of price reduction for the overall disappointment. A poor service for poor meals in a poor restaurant, never to be be repeated again. Take our advice avoid.
Very good service atmosphere and quality of kitchen everything is at the rendezvous
Excellent table, quality cuisine and friendly and smiling service. We spent an excellent time with colleagues for a very reasonable price. Excellent address to visit absolutely.
