Red Oak Steakhouse - Joplin

We dined here for Valentines Day. We started with the Fall Salad and Lobster Chowder. The Lobster Chowder was extraordinary while the Fall Salad was unimpressive. The dressing overpowered the “earthy” flavor that you’d expect from root vegetables. Unfortunately the dressing was not good. A more subtle dressing would have been a better pair. The Wagyu Ribeye was delicious yet overpriced for the product. The grilled asparagus was also delicious. We dined at the bar where we received sub par service with a very smug disinterested bartender. I’ve given 4 stars based on the Lobster Chowder without which would be a solid 3. My conclusion is that you can get far better food and service for the price.

When visiting Downstream Casino and Resort, We have reserved ourselves at Red Oak Steakhouse. We were greeted with a beautiful smile and sitting in a timely way. Our waiter was very attentive and recommended dishes too. The food was delicious. Lateral dishes were large portions and easily shaded. All we had great time and enjoyed our dinner.

Very nice restaurant. The steaks were amazing! All of the food was fantastic but man, those steaks were great. Quite possibly better than Ruth's Chris. I would highly suggest it to anyone that was hungry and wanted to spend hundreds of dollars on dinner. The bathrooms were spotless and very nice. There was plenty of seating when we got there. Not sure if we even needed reservations with how many tables were open, but we did call earlier in the day to make reservations. We will definitely be going back, but mostly on special occasions as it's pretty expensive. But so good.

Every penny worth it! We went to Red Oak Steakhouse last night and everything was PERFECT! From the friendly host who sat us to Brittany our AMAZING server, to the beautiful ambience, to the super delicious food! Every person we met went out the way to make sure we had the best evening for my husband's birthday. Thanks Red Oak Steakhouse!

Dinner in the downstream was amazing after a nice flight down. Gambled, hit a small jackpot, ate an amazing dinner and celebrated Noels's birthday!!! Big day! Thank you. Ozair to make it so unforgettable!!!!
