Recommended by all tour brochures and sites, we were slightly disappointed. I after ordering at the counter, you sit down for the food delivery. We had a decent meal, the servers were friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly. The chicken had surely sat there a few hours, the grits were overly salted, the fried green tomatoes arrived with a soggy batter. The hush puppies were tasty. Usually TripAdvisor steers us to at least a winner or finalist but this did not come close. Maybe we came on the wrong day?

Surprisingly busy early Sunday morning. Decent menu standard prices. Quickly served. Portions a tad small I felt for America. Food tasty. Thank you Team Cahawba

Levi and Daniel was a joy. The cook Maria was a sweetheart. Atmosphere awesome. Food great and no long wait.

The service was great and the food fresh and delicious. This was a return visit; we plan to make regular visits.
