We came to iHOP a day after Christmas, we were basically in out but our food was good, we had to remind our waitress about our side of fries! Our bill was around $87 our waitress was the same lady who did our bill! We remember her face usually we don’t look at our receipts after but on my Husband’s bank statement it shows that iHOP took out $101.13 when it was only supposed to be $87 something! iHOP was our favorite place to eat too! Don’t get me wrong the food there is always a hit but the service this time around was not it at all! To the waitress, we forgive you but we just hope it doesn’t happen to others!

Honestly my wife and I spend 1 week in Maui and this is the best restaurant that we visit service fantastic food excellent coffee wow amazing waffle breakfast over medium eggs red potatoes bacon sausage delicious crispy chicken salad was out of the world over all everything was amazing congratulations to the management and employees!our waitress Shaynalee was fantastic great service Definitely 100% recommend!??

CUSTOMERS BE AWARE they STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!! RED FLAG- they did not give an itemized receipt. We saw a bunch of itemized receipts in the trash can.Our family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids ate here ending of 2023 and we were over charged from our server REMA. Rema gave herself automatic 20% gratuity, which first of all I don’t think is supposed to be that high for automatic gratuity. When she gave the bill to us, it was not itemized, nor did it say that the tip was already included. It still had a “suggested tip” on our bill which was a higher amount than it was supposed to be because of the fact that she added the 20% automatic gratuity and taxes to the total amount that we owe. She also did not let us know that she already gave herself 20% tip. My other half paid and I did not check the bill until after we left. When I realized the amount we paid was way over, we headed back to ask for the itemized receipt. Rema went to dig it out of the garbage. We saw an unknown charge on our itemized receipt that said something like MGSP$ or MGRS$. When we asked what the extra charge was on our bill that said MGSP$, they acted confused and didn’t respond right away. That was the 20% tip that REMA gave herself. The two ladies actually seemed a little worried when we were questioning them about our bill. We asked for the tip back because she already had given herself one. The other lady helping said she can give the tip that REMA gave herself, which was a less amount than our what we gave in the suggested section. I told them no, I want the tip we gave back. I believe they’ve been SCAMMING customers for a very long time! Be careful of this place or any restaurant that doesn’t give an itemized receipt. First of all I don’t think an automatic tip is supposed to be 20%, but she gave herself that without even letting us know. She tried to make more money off of us in multiple ways, but I caught her wrong illegal actions.
