Bushmans Hut - Kaitaia

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, thanks to the great service and friendly staff. I ordered the main dish of king prawns and dessert, creme caramel. While I appreciated the presentation of both courses, the dessert did not quite meet my expectations. However, overall, it was an enjoyable experience in a nice setting.

The appetizers were enjoyable, and the main courses were both generous in portion and tasty. The cocktails were also a treat! However, I found the Mexican mince to have a flavor reminiscent of instant seasoning packets, and the dessert menu was underwhelming. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend it to friends. It offers better value for money compared to Beachcomber, and while both places serve delicious mains, Bushmans Hut provides larger portions—if only they could improve their desserts!

After three years of being home, I finally decided to try this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with fantastic customer service in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the king prawn salad and some premium oysters, both of which left us with big smiles on our faces. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we returned today for more oysters and steak—kudos to the chef! I'm curious about the dressing that comes with the oysters, as it was simply delicious. The staff were excellent, and this place will definitely become a regular lunch spot for us and our family. Thank you, Bushmans!

Great positive service and excellent entertainment, I love their food but my nana who lives in Kaitaia says that someone else is going to buy it so I hope it stays as it is, it's a five star restaurant :

SURF AND TURF!<br/ <br/ OMG! This place is fantastic, i look forward to coming back again. The steak was served to us sizzling and it was cooked to perfection. Accompanied by a ice cold glass of beer this was the ultimate night for me and my staff. Thanks for your hospitality.
