There are a variety of craft shops, nurseries, gift shops, art galleries, and several cafes to choose from. In addition, there are attractions like Cockington Green, the Dinosaur Museum, and George Harcourt Inn that are worth visiting. There is plenty of parking and specialty stores available. One downside is that some shops tend to overprice their items, such as The Lolly Shop. The staff at this shop could also benefit from being more engaging and smiling. I recommend checking out places like Aarwun Gallery, Lilitu's bookshop, and George Harcourt Inn.
I really admire how the restaurant has preserved history, transitioning from a slab hut to a bluestone dwelling with brick accents. They have made it accessible to everyone, with a variety of craft shops, giftware, and cafes to choose from. It's definitely worth checking out, with plenty of parking and specialty shops available as well.
Our friends recommended this restaurant as a great spot for Thai cuisine with a wide selection of authentic dishes. Unfortunately, the chef was on vacation during our visit, so the options were limited. The staff were friendly, but the food fell short of our expectations and was more expensive than we anticipated. We hope that things will improve when the chef returns next year.
Loved the shopping available in this area. The Calico Patch has a huge selection of fabrics. They should do themselves a favour and get a website. Loved the nursery, and the hat shop.
Expensive for small portion of food, nothing special. Below average! We ordered blueberry muffin and were given Costco muffin at $5 each while you can get 12 muffins for $10. To charge a $5 muffin at least homemade !!!! The cafe is cold and dirty!
