Bonjour Bakery Bistro - Kalispell

Extremely confused by the good reviews. Went in the first time, no one even acknowledged me. I finally got served (though rudely) so I just got a cookie and it was stale and gross. I thought maybe it was an off day so I went again and there were multiple staff members this time though also not very friendly. I asked if the huckleberry cream cheese croissant actually had cream cheese in it because it just looked like a color dyed purple drizzle on top, to which she replied I don 't know . I got it anyway and the monkey bread. Both were absolutely stale, bland, tasted days old. Not impressed. Plenty of better bakerys in the valley to spend your money.Update in response to business response: Your response tells customers enough, I really don 't need to elaborate. I will say for your information my family owns several restaurants so I understand quality food and service. Your condescending attitude towards your customer base will be more your undoing than your subpar service and product. Good luck, please be kind.

I truthfully love coming here to get pastries and treats. They’re all delicious. The one thing I just don’t like is when you order a cupcake, you expect to eat it right then and there. It’s cold, hard and dense. You would have to let it sit at room temp for a few hours. It’s like biting into a brick of butter. That’s just my downside of the pastry, other than that all amazing.

This place has the best pastries! Today I brought home a lemon tart and peach custard pastry. Yummy!

My almond cappuccino was terrible and tasted rancid. I received a latte, not a cappuccino. I ordered a 16 oz but got a 12 oz. French dip sandwich tastes good but is on the small side. I asked for a side of mustard and horseradish, which they forgot. Carrot and sweet potato soup is bland. Overall not a good dining experience.

We had Bonjour make our wedding cake, and had them make some macaroons as well! Both tasted amazing! They listened to what we wanted for flavor/colors and took the time to send a sweet congratulations afterwards! Would recommend to anyone. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the rest of the menu Bonjour Bakery had to offer!
