G's Pizzeria Deli - Kalkaska

Great pizza, only topped by their mozzarella spears, which are a work of art. The staff was great and the service was fast. I had a to-go order, and everything was exactly how I expected it to be.

The pizza here was amazing, we got the He-Man and there is nothing bad to say about it. Boyfriend really liked their french onion soup and we had the breadsticks. All of the food came out hot and was delicious. Definitely would go to again next time we're in town. Staff was super friendly too

Came here for a late lunch with my mom during the off season, so it was really quiet. Everything on the menu looked great. I got one of the $7 lunch specials, half an order of Sharon's bread and a half size Greek salad. Didn't enjoy the salad, but that was my fault. I forgot I don't like black olives, and I forgot to ask for no onions, so I didn't eat much of it because even after removing the onions it still tasted like onion. Also, it was HUGE. I can't even fathom what a whole salad would look like. Next time, I want to try the pizza sticks. Our server was awesome. She brought my mom a new straw with her to go drink, because she recognized that paper straws turn to mush when you put them in liquid. That was a nice thought.

My wife and I had the fried pickles and they were perfectly breaded, hot and delicious. We each ordered a Pizza Pocket. Mine was absolutely fantastic, but she asked for a BBQ Chicken with no onions, but still got the onions. She picked them out and said it was still good. Forgetting the no onions is the only reason I didn't score them a 5.

The dining area had a charming atmosphere, featuring a mostly open floor plan and a clear view of the full bar. I ordered a soup and a Greek salad, along with a personal pizza. The salad was decent, made with shredded iceberg lettuce. The chicken noodle soup was quite delicious. My personal pizza, topped with Italian sausage and roasted red pepper and served on a garlic crust, was excellent. It had just the right amount of sauce and plenty of toppings. My server was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. I would definitely come back here again.
