Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have mixed feelings about Jack's place. It offers food and travel organization (also accommodation, I think, but we were staying elsewhere). Breakfast was very slow but convenient (decent taste, right next to out hostel). Jack put us in touch with a local guide who spoke good English for a 1-day private tuk-tuk tour in the countryside, which was pricey but very nice. He also aranged for us bus+ferry (with correponding pick-ups) from Kampot to Koh Rong for rather cheap, but on a particularly uncomfortable bus (no AC).
Jack's the best. He and his family are so friendly and helpful. The dormitories are confis and clean, very good value for money. There is a beautiful roof terrace to relax.
I was in the A/C villages at Jack's Place. It was very comfortable and the owner is very helpful and nice. He even helped arrange a motorcycle of one of his friends to guide me for sightseeing! He really cares about his guests. It can also arrange buses for further travel. You must stay here if you can! He is a beautiful person, and also his wife cooks amazing food. Very recommended to stay here.
We were in the A/C Villages at Jack's Place, and we are happy to have the whole room to the three of us! It was very comfortable and the owner is very helpful and nice. He even helped us with our motorcycles who needed a bit of sweat! He really cares about his guests. It can also arrange buses and motorcycles. You must stay here if you can!
Very nice place. We loved the food Khmer and Western, the ice cream coffee and Shakes, the friendly people Jack, his wife and the others, the bar upstairs Cheers to Buzz! . Great place to have a beer or cocktails and conversations during the day with good Wi-Fi and evenings. Also recommended for all tips about local travel, motorcycles, day trips etc. Private Khmer Cooking Course is available $20 per person, $16 with discount if you stay at Blue Buddha Hotel. Prepare to be hungry, have two drinks and cook two dishes per person. All with reasonable prices ice cream coffee $1.5, food $2-5, cocktails $3 , so we ended there every morning and evening we stayed in Kampot. Since we had booked another room, we could not see it or stay in the dormitories.
