Bull Shed - Kapaa

Someone recommended this restaurant to us very highly so we made sure to try it on our trip to Kapa'a, and I'm glad we did. We both had the Daily Catch Fish with baked potato and the food was DELICIOUS!! Really great. Service was good and the view was great. Prices were good considering the location and quality. Overall a great experience. My friend thought the decor carpets furniture wallpaper basically the interior decorating needed to be updated but I feel like hey it's Kauai it's laid back everything doesn't need to look perfect. I'd rather have great food and a great view than perfect interior design. Everything looked pretty clean anyways, just maybe hadn't been replaced in a long time. The fish seemed really fresh and I asked for warm water and they brought it exactly the right temp and quickly which was great. Baked potato came with fixings and tasted amazing, fish had a cilantro sauce that was delicious. Came with a veggie skewer that was tasty. We also got a salad to start with thousand island dressing that was yummy. Great salad.

Restaurant is nice but the steak wasn't. My leather belt was more tender. Seriously the thing they are supposed to do the best was tough as nails. Lava Lava down the road had a much better steak. Don't waste your money here.

I love this restaurant. We had a table right next to the beach and you could see the waves hit the rocks right next to you the building. It was quite the experience. The food was delightful and delicious and the service was on par. They helped get whatever we wanted as quick as possible.

We we're visiting Kauai and the Bull Shed was the first restaurant we went to since we we're staying at ISO hotel. I thought the food was going to be good. It was a Joke! The only thing good is that you can hear the ocean at night. My husband and I did not like the food. He had the ribs which had too much bone. I had some type of shrimp on a skewer. That place need a huge upgrade. The staff was nice. You would think because of the money they are charging they would buy new tables and chairs. Absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
