Avaliação da contribuiçãoI had lunch here during the Easter weekend and sat outside as the weather was beautiful. It was a really tight squeeze and there were dirty ashtrays on the tables. The two waitresses were run off their feet and told me there was only one person in the kitchen. The annual Grenke chess tournament was being held nearby with about 2,000 players many of whom wanted to have a quick lunch before the next round. I waited over half an hour to get a very average salmon and asparagus pizza for €13.40 and then I had to run after one of the waitresses to pay the bill and get back to the tournament. Another day I went across the road to Terra Mare where the seats were much more comfortable and a second day I went to SAF Antipasti e Vino also nearby which was excellent. Also the restaurant doesn't accept credit cards for less than €50 which is really annoying as everybody pays by credit card these days.
We saw this restaurant not far from our Airbnb apartment and decided to walk over and give it a try. We couldn't be more thankful that we did that. We had Amanuel (I probably spelled that wrong) as our waiter. He spoke very little English but was so patient with us. He could understand exactly what we were asking for and he chose each of our dishes to eat and they could not have been more PERFECT for us! We got a bottle of wine that was excellent! Our boys caught up to us and he chose a pizza for each of them that they loved! This is truly a GREAT place and wonderful memory for us!
Who knew there is such amazing Italian food in Karlsruhe. This neighborhood trattoria is wonderful. Very small place; reservations are highly recommended. We were fortunate enough to walk-in off the street and enjoy a meal. The staff was very welcoming and allowed us to eat before the next reservation arrived.
Great service and unique combinations of flavors. Very delicious and different. Sit outside. You're happy to have the table for the night.
We ate Giovanni this week in the Trattoria. It was a very family, pleasant atmosphere. The service was very accommodating. The Pfifferlingravioli were an absolute Gaumenschmaus and the dessert variation made the evening a complete success. Fully and absolutely recommended.
