Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhen I'm on the go, I'm trying to avoid MCD, KFC, BK and other almost food if possible and really take some time for lunch. This doesn't always work – but in the dez in Kassel I have the Avanti as a fixed starting point for a few years. On February 09, 2015, I went back to the KS region and so it fits with a lunch stop. Positive Surprise: a new look, the dark decor has moved after the relaunch from 26.08.2014 to a modern bright qutfit. A new opening with the familiar faces. This is a top class/gourmet Italian, is self-explanatory because of the situation in an EKZ – but I have not been disappointed with the food until then. The quantities of Italians (the Corallo ice cafés) were noteworthy, even in the dez, who “historically” served in 4 teams for lunch. In addition to the food a la Carte, there are daily or weekly recommendations that are attached to tables. “take away” is also possible: whole, half, quarter pizzas or filled calzone (fried, in addition to Panini or also from the map. The pizza pieces are also served at the tables, partly also as a mini lunch menu with salads ambience: simple, there are only menus on the tables – but fits the guests without doubt. 2 tables, on request, can also be seated on the counter. Service: friendly welcome – even after over 6 months, with recognition from the male. Service strength and the boss. A few words changed with the boss and acknowledged me about the new design. I asked the waiter to keep me a table free, because I wanted to visit certain places (belong to the dez, the gastronomy there does not have any. This is absolutely necessary for the lunch time because it quickly becomes very full, e.g. 12:30 and 13:30 is hardly a place to get. In short, I could “place at my table”. A look into the map, in the meantime my drink request was accepted (0.5 l S. Pellegrino for € 3.70 . I quickly got a few fresh rolls (from pizza dough, nice crunchy, but not too dark, hot and slightly salted. Salt and peffer mill and Balsamico olive oil were then added, with cutlery. It must be acknowledged that all tables are served by a service, as his colleague only serves the counter and the boss partly helps in the kitchen. But until then there was never a memory of mine. Only sometimes a little more patience. As an appetizer I decided with a Carpaccio of Red Bete, with truffled pesto and planned parmesan, garnished with large-leaved parsley. It took about 10 15 minutes because it was quite full and the kitchen team (2 pers. all freshly prepared. A real taste festival: fine truffle aromas, along with the freshness of red beds, the slightly savory taste of Parmesan, on a hint of olive oil. A little salt and pepper over it – that was very delicious. (7,90 € The main dish was a day recommendation: Rigatoni (the card is all pasta varieties made home with Salsiccia (also homemade and tomato sauce (10,90€). Served after another quarter of an hour. The noodles were all al dente, different lengths and not like “tubes” – a hint that they are self-made? I'm not an absolute Pasta expert. The salsiccia was fresh, seasoned with coarse texture with fennel seeds, salt and pepper – so it should be. Some fresh garlic (I had no further appointment!!! , parsley, plus small rings of a mild peperoni, the whole with tomato sauce (Polpa i.e. canned – but of very good quality, some peffer, only unfortunately a trace too much oil (or fat discharged from the salsiccia? – perhaps this has just brought the taste: spicy, sweetly fruity, fennel, garlic, very slightly picant – also a feast for the taste buds. After that, an espresso (Lucaffé – one of the really better varieties – Illy, Lavazza, Segafredo have a name for good marketing – but not much more than the... Conclusion: €25.00 totally for a delicious lunch meal – in addition, the kitchen has increased slightly compared to the last times. I'm always worth a stop.
