Avaliação da contribuiçãoEl Jarrito has been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the Katy region for years. We went to her busiest day of the year, Cinco de Mayo. The place was packed and despite a small waiting to be delivered to our order to the table, everything was great. As I said, it was busy, I don't care about waiting. Our server was great and made sure that we have done all our other needs.
This is a fantastic spot for enjoying delicious Mexican cuisine. The service was excellent, and the food was equally impressive. They offer live music on weekends, which adds to the charm, although it can get a bit loud; nonetheless, the songs were lovely. The outdoor seating is a nice option, especially if you're dining with kids. I tried a margarita on the rocks, and it wasn't great, but I heard the frozen margaritas are much better—just a heads-up!
El Jarrito provided a fantastic dining experience. The food was incredibly delicious! The service was outstanding as well. We enjoyed enchiladas, queso flameado, chips, and warm salsa, and everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the restrooms were spotless. The menu leans more towards traditional cuisine rather than Tex-Mex. If you're looking for that authentic experience, I highly recommend El Jarrito.
We dined on Christmas Eve and although the restaurant was quite busy, we were seated right away with no wait. While we were waiting, we enjoyed some chips along with three different types of salsa, which were all delicious. The menu features typical Tex-Mex dishes like tamales, tacos, and fajitas. I opted for one of the house specialties: jalapeños stuffed with bacon and meat. It was fantastic, and I would definitely order it again. Be sure to arrive hungry, as the portions are generous. There was a slight delay between placing our order and receiving it, but it seems that many places are currently facing staffing shortages.
