Gielty's Clew Bay - Keel-dooagh

Short stop after visiting Keen Beach. Seafood Chowder, fresh brownie, cappuccino all delicious. Inside with open fireplace, pleasantly warm. There are also many wooden tables with benches outside. By the way, is the westernmost bar/restaurant/café/public of Europe.

A simple vegetable stir-fry was loaden with chili and spices and two hot to handle I struggled to finish it . I felt had it been better described . I explained it to the waitress who said oh well sure some chefs are different ways and brushed it off without as much as an apology are sorry bout that My husband 's food was fine actually .

A great place to stop on the way to or from Achill Island for a bite of food or a pint. The staff were very friendly and servi e was great. if you like seafood, try the chowder. It was excellent.

The food was awesome, cards down! I loved their catch of the day (haddock) and the stir fried veggies. Simply awesome. Just that the atmosphere could have been a bit more lively.

Lovely food,plentiful and nicely presented. Very tasty,great service!
