Awesome stop along the route to Lake Placid. Once the historic Spread Eagle Inn, they have good down home cooking, sandwich's and beer and a full bar.

The above summarizes our experience here. A reliable experience, and not too busy on weekday nights. Generous portions and yes, the mushroom soup is delicious. Service a bit slow, but if you are here in the Adirondacks, are you really in a hurry?
