Gasthof Kellner - Kelheim

The Trikertreffen der Kehlheimer Triker takes place every year behind the grounds of the Festwiese and at the stadel of Gasthof Kellner in Gundelshausen. The lawn area goes to the banks of the Danube and there are no houses in the immediate vicinity there in the large stable in the evening of course party. Coming from Regensburg, you will find the intersection of the Bundesstraße 16 on the Poikam dam (Donau and the Canal)t via the dam bridge to Poikam, after the change of this place opens a wide forest landscape with a view of the Danube and the rocks opposite the B16. Gundelshausen is only a small place, but it already belongs to Kehlheim. (Gasthof Kellner is already registered under Kehlheim) is located directly on the Europaradweg. At the entrance there is already this large and beautiful location with its natural area and the fantastic view In front of the inn there is a large cozy beer garden. Behind the front near the main meadow also an in-house tennis court. There are enough parking spaces for buses and cars. The large hall with over 300 seats forms an ideal basis for weddings and other great celebrations. A sophisticated room divider system through partitions allows the room size to be arranged fine and to the satisfaction of the customer.... If more places are needed, the adjoining rooms 40 and 50 seats can be taken and the whole thing we have already indicated by this system can be converted into a huge space. During the curious tour of the inn I was able to check the large hall covered in a planned afternoon/death celebration where the music and lighting system of the musicians was built just in front of the dance floor Rowdies and was also banished on the lens. Weddings and other festivities are also held in the stables in a festive atmosphere. It has its own dining rooms, which are directly connected to the kitchen appliance of the inn. Otherwise, the rustic and bright wooden house and the other rooms were very well visited.

Two weeks ago for the first time by bike at Gasthaus Kellner in Gundelshausen. For Sunday noon and bright weather was very little outdoor operation. The beer garden is very beautiful, not very large. The pork roast is so small from quality that it is not enough for the two meat slices and it is forced to order a second, which must then also be paid. The salad buffet is sufficient and good. The Wiener Schnitzel (2 smaller) are baked in butterschmalz and delicious. The operation is annoyed and unfortunately does not have fun. Next time we start with the Perzl in Lohstadt.

Ik had een wiener schnitzel met pommes en salat. Mijn vrouw een curryworst. Een cola en een zwartzbier, en dat alles nog voor geen 20 euro. Goed gegeten en echt "Duits" aangekleed. Zou hier zekers nog een terug komen.

Wir hatten uns mit Freunden zum Essen verabredet. Als wir da waren haben wir am Nachbartisch Rippchen gesehen. Nach einer kurzen Nachfrage bei der Wirtin bekamen wir alle Rippchen bayrisch und amerikanisch. Als Beilagen gab es Salat, zweierlei Knödelsorten mi Kraut und Pommes. Es wurde sogar nachgeliefert weil uns die Rippchen ausgingen. Das Essen war Phantastisch und der Service rundum stimmt auch.

Hochwertige, bayerische Küche. Auch der Burger ist super-lecker. Da fährt man gerne mal aus Regensburg raus...
