So I was very happy to have found this one in Kent. Service was awesome! Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Food was great. My favorite is there zucchini crisps! The only dish we didn't like was the dessert (upside down pineapple cake). It was horrible??. It was microwaved for too long, gritty texture and not much flavor. If this was closer to my home I would come back. But since it's pretty far, I wouldn't make a trip just for it.
My husband and I went here for a date night and really enjoyed us. We set ourselves fast, it's Monday night. The server was friendly and the food was delicious. We have the crispy zucchini for an appetizer, then Papa's original lasagna and chicken Adriatica for dinner and Tiramisu for dessert. It was so delicious. Would recommend if you want an American Italian food.
The restaurant is typical Italian restaurant. The list of drinks on the menu is very extensive, from wines to hard liquor. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The stands are very spacious. The only drawback I noticed is the main entrance doors. They are very heavy and not disabled friendly. I had to hold two doors back. One of them had a walker so needed a door that can remain open. It was a challenge to open the two gates simultaneously. The food was delicious and worth the price. My guests also enjoyed their meals because they didn't leave anything in their plates. I think the price is reasonable as we pay less than $160 for five people, drinks included
Atmosphere, service, menu food was great even if they were really busy for a Sunday night. I was kind of surprised that there was no bread service coming with the meal? Is this common with Italian restaurants or is that the exception?
We had the Lemon Chicken and Rigatoni Bolognese. The lemon chicken was very humid, but I feel there was something too much lemon and salt. It exaggerated the chicken and linguine. The Rigatoni Bolognese had too much ground pepper. It made it spicy and a bit gritty. The sauce texture and taste was good besides overpainting.
