Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis marvelous restaurant has lost none of its charm over the decades, still offering magnificent dishes such as the Keo Klassic (a grilled-in-butter sandwich featuring turkey and melted cheeses with lettuce, tomato, and onion), a magnificent fruit and salad tray, and a selection of pies that have earned the love of thousands of customers. Southern Living cited Charlotte's coconut meringue pie as the best anywhere back in 2011, and it hasn't changed a lick. Order your slice of pie first, because when they're gone, they're gone. Miss your slice, there's still always some excellent layer cake pieces to choose from.
Wasn't a fan of the horseradish sauce on the Ruben. The sweet tea was good.
This lovely little place was a recommendation while visiting a local historical site. First, to manage expectations they have a small lunch menu, however the sandwich we had was fantastic. Fabulous cakes and pies which are a must the reason we shared a sandwich). The place has a wonderful historical ambience with a large teapot collection, along with a unique collection of antiques and memorabilia. There are two sections so don't think you are stuck with the front half. They prefer cash only so be prepared. You will not be disappointed with this place; great tasting food, fantastic service and stellar desserts!
Any of the cakes and pies are AWESOME!
Closed in we arrived but will return.
