It is a place out of time, beyond the pandemic certainly. The manager and waitress (yes even them! , my wife and I had to go for extraterrestrials in the eyes of other customers who cross the dining room, without mask, to join the toilet and the bar or to go chat with other customers of tables in tables... Why such chaos? Sanitaryly speaking, I honestly think that's the right word. Because this is the place where the regulars meet during the weekend, recreational afternoons that are part of the life of a village. Everyone knows each other, it is user-friendly and certainly the best remedy (local against a virus that is not mentioned here; Looking well, a small sticker on a wall, such as a relic of another time, still specifies the sanitary blabla that everyone is supposed to know and apply. Yes! it is also written that any customer without up-to-date vaccination passes and failing to comply with sanitary instructions is liable to a fine of 135 €. A pass what? No idea... you are not asked for any documents at the entrance; Once installed? No more; apéro?! A place code QR? or that? “Here the wearing of the mask is obligatory” I don’t remember seeing the inscription, but it would have no meaning here. In the ambient brouha and behind a smoke that rises on the side of the bar, one imagines that this is a mutual complacency between the management and the clientele, giving it, the conviviality costs that costs; from an external point of view it is an implicit arrangement, shocking for the non-initiated until the impression of being yourself out of the law when you are in good standing. And it’s probably not this disinvolting clientele that is part of the 16 positive cases tested in the commune ( 30% positivity test on the last week of January, I hope! The house of happiness is open only one weekend on two; There's no harm. Life continues, or life resumes... I don't know. Yes! The mussels were good, the homemade fries too.
We stopped in this restaurant on Saturday noon of June at 1:00. Friendly welcome. The menu of the day was offered to us. A small plate of charcuterie crudities, two nice slices of ham with sauce, a dish of fries, an iced dessert. Add two aperitives, a half carafe of wine for an addition to €35.50; for a family cuisine of good quality. What a happiness there are still places like this one. I strongly recommend
For years we have been attending this little restaurant and have always been satisfied personal with the small care of the customers and always very nice, which makes me absolutely not understand the hyper negative reflection of the previous comment
Choose his clients at the expense. Fortunately there are other restaurants further. I don't advise.
