Bobalu's Southern Café - Key West

New favorite near KW! The pizza is on point… I see why it’s rumored to be one of the best! We got the garbage pizza is the crust was thin and crisp, no soggy spots. Atmosphere is great and the patio area would be awesome if it were a little cooler with a live band… they say it’s open in the winter. Prices are reasonable as well and family friendly. My only minor complaint is that the place is a little warm inside which is saying a lot as I’m always cold in restaurants. Absolutely recommend this place though

Look, I’ve been to a lot of the best pizza destinations (ie. New York Jersey, Philly, Denver, Chicago, Greece… and some of the worst (looking at you North Carolina and Texas… and I’ll admit I was not expecting Florida to be on either list, just some run of the mill pizza but let me tell you — the pizza at Bobalu’s is frikin fantastic. I easily could of eaten the whole pie in one sitting; the crust was lightly charred, crispy but not crunchy, the flavor whether it be from a specific yeast, a conditioned with seafood oven, a bit of sugar in the dough was so unique and complimentary to the sweet sauce, fresh veggie toppings and salty cheese that was plentiful and the perfect ratio to sauce. I regret not getting the shrimp pie but I will be back to the Keys, if not only for this pizza, soon enough!

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I recommend this place highly. Great Mahi Ang fantastic key lime pie. Mmmm!

We came in 20 mintues before close and they took great care of us! my grouper sandwich was crisp and delicious
