Taverna Maui - Kīhei

Family of 4, and we loved everything. The bread was delicious and the fried calamari and shrimp app were great. The big surprise was the pizza. We got the Carnivore and it was delicious! The atmosphere is fun.

This was by far the best dining experience we had while in Maui!

The wood-fire pizzas were definitely a highlight of the menu. I expected more local fish options, although we thoroughly enjoyed the gnocchi and pasta specials. I'd recommend starting with the pizza though!

Great drinks and bartender. Great location and views. Good food but caprese portion was laughable. Would go back but not a must visit or anything.

Pizza was good and the server was nice. Other food, that took well over an hour, was subpar. Management was horrible. She was extremely rude. We will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Save your money and do not dine here. Worst experience of the trip.
