Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - Killeen

The price for 4 of us was amazing. Our boys loved their meals. My crab legs were so juicy and cooked to perfection. My wife absolutely loved her meal. Our wonderful waitress (Luci) was awesome. We will be eating there again. Thank you all so much.

I can't believe I waited so long to go to this place it was super good. The service was amazing and the food was delicious ???? it is hard to find good decent seafood in the area and normally we just go to HEB or a food truck but this place is great. I would have given it 5 stars but we ordered the crab fries and it would have been. Great dish is the fries would have been hot but they were cold so I was a bit disappointed. I got the mini shrimp boil and I love that they mix it for you at the table and it was hot and delicious. The drinks are also amazing a frozen Margarita always hits the spot.

A sample of all the boil items placed in the Perfect Storm that I could eat in 1 sitting. Mussels are huge. Haven't seen any that size. Everything was delicious with the Hook Reel special blend sauce. Added an order of Boiled eggs and sausage. Called the order in for pickup. Great pickup experience. Would have preferred the corn ???? a little sweeter and juicier.

My wife and I have a favorite seafood boil place down in Florida and now that we are in the Killeen area we are happy to find a nice place to crush on some seafood once again. Definitely recommend. I recommend not getting the house seasoning without asking for a sample first, it is a lot of flavors all together.

This place definitely is a vibe. IT HAS A BAR!! The music was great if you're into R &B and soul, which I'm. So my wife and I were able to sing to each other, lol. The bartenders did switch shifts but both were great and took great care of us. I forgot exactly what I ordered drink wise but it had rum in it which I'm not a fan of. We were there during happy hour so the drinks were inexpensive. The food... my crab legs were over cooked and small as hell. Every time I cracked a shell I had to go fishing inside fo the meat. It's annoying. Other then that the rest of my seafood was on point... SMH. I wish they had peeled shrimp... OK. Other than that everything was on point and and even received some free shots. Definitely a spot to check out.
