Sushi Won - Kincardine

Excellent food, the best sushi in town. The menu is diverse with options for those who aren't quite ready for raw fish.

Had dinner here this week. Only one server working when we arrived. He only had time to bus tables when someone came in. Finally another server arrived. With only one person making sushi he couldn't keep up with diner's orders plus all the take out. It was s slow go! There was another cook in the kitchen. The place is nice inside. They need to make the outside and entrance more appealing. We were surprised how nice the inside was. We started with a bowl of Tori Soup. Turned out to be chicken stock with frozen peas, corn and carrots and a few mini pieces of chicken and lots of pepper. Pretty much a nothing bowl of soup. The tempura mixed veggies were all sweet potatoes, not a mix! The dynamite roll with bbq eel was so loosely rolled you couldn't get one piece in your mouth as it just fell apart. Then there was the curry roll....it appeared to be cucumber roll slices topped with a huge amount of over cooked sautéed onions and veggies, small pieces of beef and a little curry. No flavor whatsoever and impossible to eat.....this wasn't sushi and we couldn't eat it. We told waiter but he did nothing about it...he said he'd never had it! We were offered fried bananas for dessert but refused, then they showed up with bowls of watermelon balls in juice. There are 2 sushi places in this small town and the other is much better.

Went for Dinner, waited over an hour and a half for my sushi roll. The other person dining with me got their food 40 mins before me, what ever happened to eating at the same time? Ended up going to the counter and paying for the bill, AND they still made me pay full price for my roll, that was overdue. Hesitant on coming back there!! Beware!

I went with my friend for a date, I ordered 4 roll because I wanted a few home for the work the next day. the waiter then went on to comment “that is a healthy amount of food” I have already struggled with self-image and he did not help. Discriminate how much I have ordered, do not know what my plan was first. never back.

Customer service was just satisfactory, but food here is exceptional. The rolls are generous in size, and so are the cuts of sashimi. Definitely impressed with the quality of sashimi here. Will definitely be returning.
