The Oak Room - Knoxville

Fun place to hang out for the evening. The Beer flight was fairly priced for the variety you get, and I really enjoyed most of the beers they have. We also ordered some flatbreads that frankly punch above their weight: excellently baked, delicious flavor combinations, and good presentation that “classed-up” the venue. Would definitely return.

We visited The Oak Room on Saturday night. It's got a cool ambiance in there with all of the oak barrels lining the walls and defining the spaces. Our group had one side to our selves. They have an extensive drink menu. The mai tai I had was good. My husband really enjoyed the Old Forester flight that he ordered. The cheese boards were delicious. It was a great combination of meats, cheeses and fruits.

Server was extremely pleasant and the decor and ambiance we're very nice. We got there just as dinner rush was clearing out and practically had the place to ourselves. The meat and cheese board and flatbread were just right to accompany the tasty beers.

What a cool place! I loved my first visit to The Oak Room. Cool vibe, awesome decor, attentive service, good food, cold beer, crafted cocktails. A great place for a casual date night or to hang with friends. I would even come alone! Tonight I had the Salad and Mexican lager beet on tap. Both were great. I took a sip of a couple different margarita creations, which were also good. There’s a lot more to try, so I’ll be back. If I *had* to dig for a criticism, it would be the paper-plating of the food. Everything in the place had an upscale vibe except the paper plates and plastic forks. That said, the food was de-lish. Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

Everything here was so delicious. I got the ginger kombucha which I loved and hubby got the cinnamon stout which I also liked even though I never like stouts. This place is a Knoxville gem. I highly recommend. The oak room board was the best I’ve had and the monthly special, bahn mi, was so delicious. The flavors were perfect. I find it hard to find quality, unique, yummy places here after living close to DC, but this place hit the spot for sure.
