Avaliação da contribuiçãoBest beef selection I've ever tasted in my life. Kobe beef is the best one, and also the marble steak is so good. We ordered 1 menu set, Kobe beef, and Mizayaki A5 Beef. All are really good. We recommend you to try the authentic Kobe Beef in this restaurant. One of the best part is also their service. Very good service and nice people.
The best Kobe experience we could have! the bark is exquisite and there are many cuts to fit every taste. they explained (in English) any kind of cut and the best grill techniques. the bark really melts in her mouth, it is beyond delicious. we also enjoyed the recommended desires that perfectly paired to our meal. the service was also excellent, and they accept credit cards that is a plus.
First time eating proper Kobe beef and it was amazing. Had the daily chef special cooked for us and it was great, would definitely come back. Prices for the non specials we're very reasonable as well. They give you a grill to cook on your self but will help you if needed.
It would be a complete missed opportunity if we did not try Kobe beef while in Kobe! After scouring the internet for recommendations, we settled on La Shomon on the outskirts of Kobe. Not far from a station, the second floor restaurant isn 't hard too hard to find (although you do need to look up to find the sign). Half expecting a super posh setting, we were greeted with a cozier environment, reminiscent of a typical Asian BBQ restaurant. Service here was pleasant and helpful, albeit perhaps a bit startled by foreign visitors? We ordered the famous Yume no seto set as well as an a la carte piece of Kobe beef that was on special. Each item was presented and described to us thoroughly and we enjoyed every piece. My favourites were the inside skirt and tenderloin pieces as they were the buttery consistency that I was expecting with that grade of wagyu beef. While the other pieces were good, I didn 't find them much different than a good piece of Angus steak from back home in Canada. Personally, I felt like the only difference was the size and price. The size of each cut was quite small about the size and length of two fingers but for a hefty sum, as compared elsewhere. If you 're looking to try Kobe beef at least once while you 're in Kobe, I recommend going here. It was an thoroughly enjoyable experience but going once is probably enough for me. If you 're looking for a bang for your buck, this is probably not the place for you.
Amazing beef! English speaking staff and menu helps a lot too. We would recommend the chefs set ~5500 yen for two people) which is the best daily cuts showcasing a variety of marbling, flavour and textures. Would come again and definitely worth a short train ride from Kobe. Make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
