Coq En Pate - Koebenhavn

It was the first time we visited the place. The food was 1st grade and on the wine card you could order almost all wine on glass. The acoustics in the room were very comfortable, there are acoustic plates in the ceiling. The only idea is that we may ask for the menu card. But otherwise the service was good and caring. Thank you for food.

On a balmy summer evening, we decided to visit Coq en Pate, a little gem of a restaurant tucked away in the city's cozy neighborhood on Østerbro. We were immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the smell of freshly cooked food and the sound of hushed conversation set the scene for a memorable evening. We chose their 4-course menu, which at a price of DKK 395 turned out to be a true culinary experience. From the first bite, we could feel the care and love that was put into each dish. The starter was a delicate composition of tartar served with a creamy dip that perfectly balanced the flavors. The next dish was an exquisite ravioli with haddock. The main course was a delicious veal tenderloin with bacon around it in a taste experience of sauce. The dessert certainly did not disappoint either. Finally, we were served a creme brulé that was so airy and intense that it left us in pure ecstasy. Every item on the menu felt well thought out and harmoniously coordinated. The service was top class. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and they managed to create a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. It was clear that they were passionate about their work and wanted to give us a good experience. This also applied to the children, who were greeted with smiles. Coq en Pate is a place we can highly recommend for both children and adults. The combination of exquisite food, cozy atmosphere and first-class service makes it a place we will definitely return to. If you are looking for a restaurant experience that really delivers on all parameters, Coq en Pate is an obvious choice.
