Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe have visited restaurant eight in this week for jubilee. it wasn't the first time that we visited, and we are blown away in the rule from the food and service. while eating was amazing, it took very long for us from the. while he showed up other guests with drinks, we waited with empty glasses for our food. not so beautiful for a jubilee festival. the waiter then commented later on our weeping in rude wise. how can I dare to ask for another glass of wine during eating. not so happy about his service this time.
Our first trip to many weeks of lockdown and we felt very comfortable with everything so that we could really enjoy the fine food and weeping. well separated tables will be even better when the terrace is open this week. each used face masks, handdesinfectants. and took obvious care. the food was really perfectly cooked and presented as usual, but what a tasty bite after so long to house!
We were a group of thirty work colleagues who recently descended in the restaurant eight for a weekend dinner. we parked quite far away (walking hotel) and went over the so-called Belgian quarter of köln to the restaurant. we were warmly welcomed and sitting. on a relatiw small table for four against the back and crawled beside another table for 4. we started with a round beer (or two, actually) while we checked out the menu. we all went for the set menu and three of us also went for the wine selection chosen by this facility for each cure. after a small glass of delicious soup I went for cheese with tortellini, asparagus and walnuts as starter. for the main course I chose the lamb from the Eifel region west of köln. that was absolutely delicious. I'm finished with the excellent cheeseboard. during the meal we were served with an excellent selection of different weeps per curs. I don't remember what we drank, except the red, Austrian wine from the Burgerland two-legged “Föllikberg”, which came with the main course of the lamb. I appreciated the generousness of our waiter here. he constantly ensured that our glasses were refilled and also half empty bottles close to the hand for our own freky, snäak swallow. all in all, we had a whale here. it is not cheap that we bleed a few hundred euro here, but it was for a rewarding thing.
Here for a business dinner with a larger group of 10. the ambiente adapted for a group of this size with the warm and refined but relaxed atmosphere and high ceilings and open kitchen. service was welcoming and pleasant. small menu, but the appetizers. in the main thing and finish with dessert were delicious very delicate lamb dish. good presentation as well as for the dishes. good wine selection and relatiw cheap. would definitely recommend restaurant eight for a casual meal to a business dinner. would definitely return to a visit to another one in a car.
We’re here with friends and had excellent food from the short but exquisite menu. The wine list was appropriate and the sommelier picked the right ones to our fish dishes and the Cheese. The ending was somewhat abrupt as we had to leave the restaurant...as the staff wanted to close shortly before midnight. Maybe we should have informed ourselves before. The staff was friendly and helpful.
